Jing Jing Asian Market sits comfortably as both a grocery destination and a spot for quick, authentic Chinese deli meals in Bellevue’s 12402 SE 38th St neighborhood. This Asian market blends a well-stocked supermarket vibe with a casual, approachable deli counter that locals rely on for everyday eats and pantry shopping.

Inside, the store is spacious and clean, with wide aisles that make navigating shelves easy even on busier days. The produce section stands out with a solid selection of fresh Asian vegetables and fruits, catering to those who want ingredients hard to find in typical grocery stores. Shoppers will notice a mix of Japanese and Chinese staples, from snacks to fresh items, paired with sensible prices that keep grocery runs affordable.

The deli corner deserves particular mention for those craving a quick meal break. After a stretch where prepacked rice boxes were the norm, the staff now allow customers to pick dishes to customize their own Chinese deli rice boxes — a small but welcome move that leans into authenticity and choice. This setup offers great value compared to larger chain alternatives nearby, serving up comforting home-style dishes that resonate with weekday lunch crowds or anyone wanting a no-fuss, flavorful bite.

Another notable aspect is the mini bakery area, which is a surprise for a market of this size. It features an array of pastries that have captured visitors’ attention as a perfect on-the-go treat or a casual snack to enjoy right out of the car in the parking lot. The atmosphere overall feels unpretentious and friendly, supported by helpful employees who seem to know regular shoppers and newcomers alike.

The location benefits those driving in, with a large parking lot easing the common hassle of finding spots in the area. Whether stopping by mid-morning for grocery essentials or grabbing a ready-to-eat meal on a lunch break, Jing Jing Asian Market strikes a good balance between practical shopping and casual dining amidst a busy residential and commercial stretch of Bellevue.

I spent over $50 and got an order of free dumplings! I’m not 100% sure, but I think it could be a permanent promotion/incentive to shop here— either way, it was a very nice Asian grocery store that offers lots of varieties of snacks, Asian vegetables and fruits, and it even has a mini deli! Very cute and the staff were friendly.

Great place to get authentic Chinese deli rice box / biandang / caifan. They finally let you pick the dishes now (after going entirely prepacked boxes during COVID). Much better value than T&T deli, and slightly better taste.

Great while it was open. Will be missed now that was taken out by T&T. Their bakery was decent too. RIP

They have a wide variety of pastries and different things. The pastries are beyond amazing. We all sat in the car and ate before leaving.

Was a great grocery when it was open offering the cheapest guan miao noodles as well as crab egg stuffed fish balls that I've only found at the 99 Ranch mart all the way in Renton. Unfortunately it's now closed, probably due to the huge T&T store that opened just a few blocks away.
